Bridge Community Church began through the vision of two churches. Understanding that the Church ultimately exists in order to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with the world (Eph 3:10,11), the leadership of these churches recognized a shared vision for reaching our larger community. After much prayer and discussion, both churches believed they could be more effective in fulfilling their mission by working together than by working apart. The result was the birth of Bridge Community Church.
BCC’s permanent facility went ‘under construction’ in May 2009 for a period of five months. Our first Sunday in the renovated location was Oct 25th, 2009.
Since our first service in 2009 Bridge has been blessed to see growth that can only be explained by the faithfulness of God. During the summer of 2015 Bridge Community Church went into its 2nd building expansion. This time we added an expansion to our existing building that created multiple classroom/teaching environments, as well as, enlarged our Journey Kids wing.
Our belief is that God desires for all of us to continue to grow deeper in our surrender to Him (2 Cor. 5:15). This is the process of discipleship. This new expansion will drastically increase our ability to conduct church-wide discipleship from children to adults — a value we hold as a high priority.
As we continue to make our relationship with Christ, our value of His Kingdom, our priority on the Gospel, and our love for missions a central focus at Bridge we believe that God will continue to grow us and give us the opportunity to change lives here in Lansdale and around the world.
