OUR Vision includes you

Our mission at Bridge Community Church is to help people thrive by finding and following Jesus.

We believe the church is called to live a life of authenticity that will re-establish its credibility with a culture that has too long viewed it through the eyes of doubt and cynicism.  The services at Bridge Community Church are intended to be powerful and inspiring as we talk about the issues you face everyday and connect God’s wisdom and Word to your life.

We have a place for everyone. Whether you’re single, married, a parent, teen or child, we desire to make church a creative, relevant and life-changing experience for you each week. Our prayer is that our services challenge and encourage you as you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

where we came from

Bridge Community Church began through a shared vision of two churches to reach their community.

Understanding that God has chosen the Church to represent His love for mankind (Ephesians 3:10 & 11), the leadership of these churches recognized they would be more effective in accomplishing their mission by working together than by working apart.

After much prayer and discussion the two churches became one and in January 2009, Bridge Community Church was born.

Where we are heading

Mission:

Bridge Community Church exists to help people thrive by finding and following Jesus.

Beliefs:

BCC is affiliated with the Assemblies of God and teaches in accordance with the beliefs of the fellowship. Our core beliefs are as follows:

Salvation Through Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ has bridged the gap between mankind and God by bearing our sins through his sacrificial death on the cross. Through recognizing our sins, faith in His death and assurance of His resurrection we believe anyone can be in restored relationship with God. Yes, anyone. (John 3:16; Rom 10:8-13)

Divine Healing: Divine healing is an integral part of the salvation message of Jesus Christ. Though we do not understand why God physically heals some and not others, we believe healing is still relevant for today as God apportions (Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:16,17; James 5:14-16).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit: As a result of our salvation, we believe God has given every believer His Holy Spirit to help us live a life honoring to God. The Holy Spirit serves as a counselor and is a deposit, reminding us of the hope we have to one day be in unhindered relationship with God (2 Cor 1:21-22; John 14:15-27).

Second Coming of Christ: In the same way Jesus left the earth, our hope is in the truth that He will one day return for all who have put their trust in Him, past and present. The truth of His return is referred in The Bible as ‘The Blessed Hope’ (Titus 2:13, 1 Thes 4:16-17).
